You two do work together so its likely that conversations etc are just being nice. You could flirt with him at work if you want and see how he reacts to that. Being clear and direct is always a good idea that way there is no confusion regarding what you want and your motives. If you two share a common interest you could ask him if he wants to do that with you sometime or just ask him out to do something outside of work. Guys always appreciate a girl who knows what she wants and is confident to ask for it/ do what she needs to get it (like approaching a guy she likes or asking them out). Don't be afraid of rejection. He's either into you or hes not and the sooner you find out (getting rejected or not) the sooner you can move on with the relationship or move on with someone else.

Not trying to stop you from pursuing someone you work with here but speaking from experience if pursuing your coworker coworker doesn't work out things can get stressful at work. I'd make sure you're really sure its worth it to try and have a relationship with them and that you could handle working there or leaving if things don't work out for whatever reason.

You don't want to go direct since you will see each other everyday. Be indirect, like "What you doing tonight ?" "You seem lonely, I think you would be happy if you had a girl" and so on

disqualify him , make him invest in you and be smily. google disqualifying; its a catalysor to seduction in the right circumstance. Read his body language , what does his eyes say ? his feet ?

dont always agree/laugh to what he says , learn to push to create tension.

if its summer work go for it , if its a work you care : forget about it ^^ Be subtle.
