While I was talking to this girl (post-wall) - we had gotten on the subject of relationships. She joked around saying she's going to get a dog and stay single forever. It wasn't the first time she mentioned this so I told her one day it may become a reality. After a short exchange of messages she sends another saying "It isn't like you've shown any effort to build an empire with me anyway" I left her message on read because I felt like I'd be validating myself to her.
