Mystery gets a lot of criticism here, but I think there's more nuance to his method

He has a couple basic principles that are pretty universally recognized as practical common sense. And his method has definitely worked for him. But all that aside, I can't stand the guy. His entire schtick is based on gimmicks, canned routines, and dehumanizing women. The guy's quite possibly the biggest douche in the entire PUA community.

Oh man, it's weird, I don't like Mystery, I appreciate what he got started, but I think he was very behind in terms of emotional and moral maturity...

But goddamn I just keep wanting to jump in there and defend the poor guy from having his work made out to be a total sham. Of course it's Conan's job to make the audience laugh but given how much I've learned from all this it feels a bit like someone mocking my religion. Funny, but unsettling.
