Just dropping in to give some of you guys some hope. Hopefully.

Anyway it's been about a year since a bad breakup with my only ex. Haven't had sex since. Recently I've been trying to work on myself physically and mentally. Not really to have sex or anything, just to improve myself.

Anyway, I recently started school. On the first day of my web design class I looked up as a cute girl walked in, made eye contact and smiled. She came and sat next to me. I introduced myself within the first 5 minutes of class. Felt pretty good about that, as this was my first chance at practicing what I learned here. Any way we ended up chatting throughout class when permitted.

So the next class I try to step things up a bit by adding touch. I just nudged her as the professor was talking to ask her a question that didn't really need to be asked (asked if she's ever made a website; this is a web design class). I think this did the trick. After this, I showed her a couple of my websites and she seemed impressed. We messed around on my computer for a good half an hour before I noticed that I had missed out on some of what the professor was saying, so I kind of pulled back a little to pay attention.

This I guess brings me to some kind of dilemma. I'm definitely attracted to this girl physically. However I think there's a bit of a gap there mentally... I don't wanna say I'm this super genius or anything, but I'm kinda looking for a girl who I could have an intellectual conversation with. I don't know whether to push it and go for the physical relationship, cause it has been a while.. but then I don't want to put up with clingy/awkwardness for the next 4 months of class should things go wrong.

Regardless, I'm happy with the progress I've made, even if it's small. I'm starting to like talking to strangers!
