I just came back from something that I would call a successful second date. So we had a great first date that ended with a kiss on the cheek on my part. This time we went for a walk, then lunch and then coffee at a starbucks before she was heading to her part-time job. So did a lot of kino like petting her on the back, kind of hard to escalate I felt both at the walk and at the lunch where we sat kind of far apart form each other and our plates and small table kind of made it impossible for kino. But at the walk I though fuck I´m gonna go for it now I don’t wanna wait to long, so I said hey wait in front of a kind of romantic street art piece that we both had been watching, I went for the kiss but she turned here cheek, she asked why I did it, I kept myself calm and just said: “Well I had to do it here right”, she just laughed and said “Yes, I guess”, later at coffee maybe four hours into the date (long I know), we sat outside and I tried the 2 steps forward 1 step backwards, pet her arm (though she had a jacket), then to the back, then I went to scratch her head which she kind of avoided at first, then later back to pet the back, then I pulled back when I didnt feel so much confirmation from her and Immediately she started to ask a lot of stuff about me and I feel her attempts to “ignore” me was gone, I pulled her close and she started to lean on my legs, I have to go for it I thought, took her head and turned her to me, and went for the kiss when she said “I´m sick, we shouldnt you`ll catch my cold”. “I don´t care” I said and went for it. It was like 2 short kisses, then later I went for it again, don´t know if I was too pushy since she was always the one finishing the kisses which I feel is kind of a bad sign. Anyway, nothing more happened after that, just patted her back and a bit later we went to the train station, we were going with the same train so when she went off at her station she just turned her cheek to me so I kissed it.

Now, just wondering, should have waited for the kiss until later not the get those dead moments, like obviously she didn’t want to start french kissing so early. And what is a good escalation from here on now? Invite her to my place, text her a lot, not? Any thoughts, thanks!

What is this I feel in my body…butterflies, haven’t felt it for a couple of years, damn it´s nice.
