So this is a girl I met last Friday. We have been texting, and vibing REAL good since.

Our first date was supposed to be this Monday actually, but she had to cancel last minute and asked to reschedule (genuine emergency).

Today I called her and had a great conversation but by the end of the conversation, she said she doesn't want to come back to my place for the first date. She was pressing on that and sort of adamant about it, in fact, she even asked me if I keep like a lay count lol. It also came up in conversation that she thinks I might be a bit arrogant (don't know why, maybe because I post a lot of my work pretty confidently up on IG, but then again it is a work profile so... Anyways.)

She also brought up in conversation that she just got out of a breakup.

So I was kind of shook about the not coming back to my place statement and didn't necessarily know how to respond. MY plan originally was to take a walk outside, have fun and then come back to my place for a dinner I'd cook us up. But now that she is adamant/uncomfortable about the coming home scenario, I will still attempt it once or twice but if she says no we'll just end up going out somewhere.

I've read elsewhere that if a girl flakes on the first date, but wants to reschedule or do it again, the second time should generally be back at your place.

Any suggestions or advice on how to play this? I meet her in 5 hours.
