So after a thing for my high school(for incoming freshmen) I was taking the train home. I saw this cute blonde girl, who I new a bit and was in this astronaut mascot uniform at the thing. I decided to go up and talk to her, got over my almost painful AA, and opened with the line "So I saw you in the astronaut costume earlier. How'd they stick you with that job."(Not very good I know). She responded and we started talking. Pretty quickly It turned bad. She responded to everything with "Yeah" and a few other words every once and a while. It forced the conversation all on my like I was carrying it, and I found myself asking too many questions like an interview. I know this is an obvious sign of no attraction but she was blushing and acting like she was just awkward, so I'm not sure how to take it. Either way I'm glad I forced myself to just go up and talk to her, it makes me realize even if she isn't interested it won't kill me. Not much, but I thought I'd share. Thanks sedditors!
