I've never done this with first approaches, but with girls who I've made some headway with, this is probably my favourite 'go-to' place for kino and physical escalation, because, who the hell doesn't love having their back scratched. If I'm having resistance, I'll hint that I know how to give an amazing scalp massage in return. I like to enjoy the scratch for a couple of minutes and then redirect her hands to the front of my torso (either pectorals or abdomen) and continue from there.

Also, girls love foot rubs. If you give one too soon though, that's all they ask for, and I have to flee the country asap to avoid religious persecution. It's a great bargaining chip later on when you really need a deep rub-down after exercising, or just a straight up BJ. Obviously, you never want to be bargaining for these things, but, the hint of a masterfully executed foot-rub, is enough to get many girls in the mood for foreplay.
