Don't beat around the bush imo. The more straightforward you are - the better. Tell her straight up, next time you see her, you want it to be a date. See how she responds and go from there.

It's important to make your intentions clear immediately. Good body language, good vocal annunciation, strong eye contact into physical contact, etc.
It's a matter of acting quickly without rushing things. The sooner you can open yourself and herself up you can guide the conversation in a more sexual manner.
