She already knows you are interested because you are going on a date with her.
Since she is leaving, you probably need to make some significant progress on the date.
So, I would flirt with her a lot and make sure we are progressing the physical interaction as the date goes on. Like, holding hands, casually touching her arm. If you are hiking, maybe helping her on difficult parts of the trail. Then, kissing her no later than half way through the date.
And trying to progress the date physically to beyond kissing and into some type of fooling around where her clothes are partially off.
You don't have to have sex, but it should feel like you could have sex.
This physical stuff is important because she is leaving and you can't see her for a month.
Developing relationships is mostly about momentum and you are being hurt by not seeing her for so long. So, by fooling around with her, you progress the relationship far enough so she will see value in seeing you again after she gets back.
