Your mission is like your main quest in an RPG. Yeah side quests and miscellaneous quests are fun once in a while but you play the game for the main quest, and you never allow side quests to get in the way of your main quest.

There are many different missions.

I strongly believe that you should be emotionally invested in your mission. Passionate to the point of obsession. If people think you're crazy, good. You're living.

I link to think of my mission as my why. When life hits me, I use it to pick myself back up and keep going.

But I am not willing to share it with words. Only through actions. I have noticed the less I talk about it, the more I act towards it.

I also think that you should always keep in mind that your mission must not require a specific person other than yourself. People might embark with you for the journey for a while, but ultimately, you are your only permanent crew member.

It's what drives you everyday, it's what your constantly thinking about. For me it's fighting, it's the only thing I've ever been truly good at, and the only thing I've poured thousands of hours of my life into doing. I'm always thinking about it.

A mission is a goal you relentlessly pursue. Doesn't have to be realistic but it needs to be possible. I don't like calling it a lifestyle because it's easier to hamster or get caught up in materialism.

My mission is to be a rapper, I'm getting better every day and I'm meeting new people from it. Even if I don't make it I'm gonna look back at it in ten years and be like "that was an era, I was fucking grinding back then."
