Do you guys approach when girl's wearing sweats?

Wearing sweats doesn't necessarily mean "don't approach me!" It's a bit more than that.

I think it's more her overall vibe and body language. Some universal things that say, "Don't talk to me!," are wearing earbuds/headphones, moving quickly/clearly busy, and reading a book/deep into work. If she is acting closed off or just feels very unapproachable, it could be purposeful.

The only time you know is when you're told off. It's not impossible she's just dressing comfortably, intended on picking something up real quick, having a lazy day, or she's depressed. Hell, it might even be her style. There's also the chance she finds you intimidating if she looks like shit and you're dressed to impress.

Clothes give you an idea but it's not the know all answer. Thinking jogging pants means a girl isn't interested is like thinking a girl dressed professionally can't also be slutty or a club girl can't be a nerd.

If you're having trouble with girls who are in sweats only, my bet would be your energy. Imagine being hungover and then some high energy cheery asshole comes up to you belching out some bullshit with the volume turned to 11. Like others have said, read the body language, not the clothes.
