Is it me or are older women (28-35 yo) only looking for relationships?

Thinking out loud here, but it seems to me like that is the time when in some views it becomes socially unacceptable for a woman to be single. So if that's the case maybe they don't want to waste their time with someone who isn't interested in the same thing.

I'm a 29 year-old woman, who has started letting guys know on date one that I'm interested in something meaningful. Here is my perspective: I tried the casual thing a little when I was younger partially because I was curious and partially because I thought it's what "cool girls" did, girls who guys would think were cool. In any event, I keep finding that most guys treat their casual partners like crap. Like with very low levels of respect compared to the way they treat women they're in a relationship with. So I think women in our age range often are thinking about settling down and having kids, that part is true. But I think they're also saying "I don't want to be your booty call, I want to be respected."
