Personally I wouldnt do it. Is sex really worth fucking some dudes life up? He could have serious trust issues lasting for years from this. He could miss his chance at ever having a happy family because of that. This could seriously impact his entire future.

What would your friends think if they found out? And your family? Do you really want to be that kind of person?

If she really likes you and wants you, more than she cares about her bf, she should break up with her bf first, because that means shes not a good partner and he probably deserves better. Then you can do whatever you two want. If they dont break up, stop thinking with your dick and do the right thing (which if i understand correctly you are already leaning towards doing. Listen to that voice)

Edit: i didnt really answer your question about what to learn. I suppose the experience and what you decide to do will teach you more about what kind of person you are, and how it feels to be in such a situation. You will probably be able to empathize more with people in a similar situation and make better judgements on their character, or give better advice, based on that. Idk if theres one specific lesson to learn though.
