Okay now I know this may not be a big deal to most, but it kind lifted my spirits.

I met this girl while visiting my hometown and I found her very attractive and we just talked in passing and got each other's socials. That was it for the most part, talked briefly a few times and I thought I had fucked it up with my online interactions a lil bit. I asked her if she ever visited the city (since it's where I live now) and she said she would before she flies back to her country, and I told her lemme know if she's free when around. Well she messaged me last night asking if I wanted to hit the town with her but I had to turn her down cause I already had plans. But it kind of made me think, the advice I read here about when you don't overthink it and leave the ball in their court and live your best life (and show off how good it is) it works out for the best. It also put the idea of the someone being out of my league away forever since it's about how you carry yourself. Also it felt like the biggest power move turning down her invitation when I was so keen on her before I thought I fucked it up.
