This is nitpicky but possibly important in terms of mindset so I wanted to emphasize that she actually IS responding. She's just not responding well.

This may sound like failure to you but it seems like it's better to quit than to provoke her. I don't want her screaming "creep" in a crowded room.

There's even more to this. Even if she didn't scream "creep," you are bringing yourself down if you continue throwing yourself at a girl who's not interested in you.
