Obvious troll is obvious.

[–]papacity[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

I'm not a troll. This is something I'm seriously concerned about. I've added a link with an example.

[–]bam2_891 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

You're not "concerned" you're just being hateful. This can be a legitimate bioethical discussion, but not if you go around calling them freaks. Compassionless, loudmouthed nonsense like this gives TRP a bad name.

[–]papacity[S] -3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Technically they are freaks. How does the evolution of "transgender" people aid the survival of humanity? Seriously think about that for a moment.

But I don't care about debating that, and that's not why I made this post. My biggest problem is with them trying to have sex with me.

I've been approached by a "transgender woman" before, and luckily I was able to tell "she" was a man. I don't want this to happen again, or there to come a time when I mistake one of them as a real woman. They should know better than to pursue straight men.

[–]bam2_892 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

No, "freak" is not a technical term. You're committing the naturalistic fallacy: being more natural does not make a behavior more or less incorrect.

[–]papacity[S] -5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

A freak is defined as an unusual and unexpected event or situation - an anomaly. What is usual, expected, or normal about a man who's compelled to undergo extensive medical procedures to become a female?

Let me ask you this. Would you date one of them? Or let's say you found out your girlfriend was born a man, would that bother you?

[–]bam2_891 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Regardless of definition, you're using it as a pejorative. It's normal because gender abnormality is a persistent human condition that occurs with equal frequency in all cultures.

I wouldn't seek one out or continue dating one, but I'm not so paranoid about the remote possibility of fucking mangled she-male cock that I'm looking for ways to expose them. It sounds like you've got some serious unresolved issues.

It sounds like you've got some serious unresolved issues.

I don't. As a heterosexual man, I do not want to have sex with other men who can cleverly disguise themselves as women. It's as simple as that. Transsexuals should be upfront about who they are.

[–]bam2_890 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You're missing the point. You're entirely too paranoid about something remote. You're like a feminist overly obsessed with being violently raped.

[–]papacity[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This isn't something I constantly worry about. It was a simple question. How do we let transgender people know that most straight men don't want to have sex with them, so if the day comes that they become indistinguishable from real women, they won't try to pursue us? Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe most of you wouldn't mind having sex with a mutilated man.

[–]bam2_891 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

They already know that.

[–]sir_wankalot_here2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

The problem is you are secretly attracted to trannies and in denial. Trannies leave more women available for me, so I support gay, tranny rights of all types.

[–]papacity[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I didn't say anything about being against tranny rights. My question was about what could be done to let them know that the majority of us don't see them as "real women", but as men who had their dicks cut off. That's the essence of my post.

[–]sir_wankalot_here2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You made a serious reply, so you deserve a serious reply.

Lets say I have a mental disorder where I think I am Napoleon. I wear a funny hat and funny clothes, but I obviously am not Napoleon.

I am not interferring in your life, so why should you really give a shit what I believe ? Some guy wants to wear a dress and take hormone pills it is none of my business.

[–]real-boethius1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The line is where someone who does not want to have sex with a trans person is shamed for "transphobia".

Given that a lot of people do feel that way (do not want to have sex with someone born male), disclosure of your trans status would also be polite.

[–]sir_wankalot_here-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The moment you mention the word shamed, you are no different then Feminazis, Mensrights or these other whiney groups.

If I meet a shemale, if they seem to start dropping hints, I just get right to the point. I politely tell them sorry I am not into shemales. In every case the shemale told me thank you for being up front with me. From talking to them, it is something that starts at a very early age, or possibly it is genetic. No guy decides I think I will go put on a dress.

EDIT: who really gives a shit what other people think.

Back to the original point of my post, what if you weren't able to tell if they were a shemale or not? It's still fairly obvious now, but one day it might not be. Would having sex with a man who only looked like a woman not be a problem for you? Wouldn't it be better if she-males were open about who they were?

I politely tell them sorry I am not into shemales.

The politically correct way to refer to them is "transgender" people.

[–]sir_wankalot_here0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wouldn't it be better if she-males were open about who they were?

People should be open about who they are, so women who have 4 kids shouldnt be tellling men they only have 1 kid. The man who has been divorced 3 times shouldn't be saying he has only been married once. The woman who has been a former prostitute or stripper should probably tell who ever they are getting into a relationship with.

For sake or arguement what if the person with XY chromosomes was born with the physical body of a woman and didn't know it ? Or the second case is probably nore common a person with a male body, but XX chromosomes ? You are assuming gender is binary. It isn't. Approximately 1% of people who are born display sexual ambiguity.
