So after a number of dates, one thing I've really struggled with is sexual tension. On my successful ones, she initiates in a more obvious fashion and I match, but in the unsuccessful ones, she subtly initiates and I can't match or escalate. Its definitely an inner mentality thing for me, I know when I should escalate but I often find it hard to do so out of either shame, embarrassment, or fear at the thought of failing the escalation.

For background, I'm rather new to dating and gaming in general. I've been on a personal quest to become a better person in all aspects in my life, socializing/romance in particular. A lot of it started off with eliminating basic social anxiety and being able to sustain conversations. I've come a really long way and overall I'm super happy with the direction I've been taking my life in. As of now, I'm pretty good with teasing and not coming off as needy on the first date / the beginning, but that all changes when its clearly time to escalate.
