Been putting in work w/ this girl for like a month. We’ve hung out about 5 times. 2 of those times being formal dates. After the date this afternoon she started giving me a lot of nonverbal signals after I studied videos about kino. I meet her at the bar tonight w/ some friends of mine. She gives me a ride home, looks me in the eye for about 10-15 seconds, in silence, as we pull up to my apartment. She’s obviously wanting a kiss, but I’m to drunk and awkward to initiate it. I leave the car and think to myself, “bro you have to kiss her”. I then duck back into the car and give her an awkward kiss on the cheek. I feel her freeze up, so I APOLOGIZE LIKE A FUCKING DUMBFUCK. She says it’s ok, we both give a awkward laugh, I thank her for the ride, then go into my bedroom and pound my head against the wall.

Did I just fuck up a month’s worth of work? Or is this recoverable? Most importantly, WHAT SHOULD I TEXT HER IN THE MORNING?

Should I apologize or just make a joke of it? I’m thinking of the latter, something along the lines of...

“sorry I’m usually a much better kisser than that lmao”
