Well what i normally do when i get a number is go ahead and give them a call while im still with them and say now you have my number too...sometimes they'll even make contact first

My tip for guys who tend to get fake phone numbers is to get more solid numbers and stop getting fake numbers. Try to be more natural during interactions, and try to leave more of an impact on her. Mainly an impact via sexual tension, but also an impact via having more fun and being more confident.

Have her put her number in your phone herself. Then dial it. Lots of girls don't answer unknown numbers, so at least you're in her phone list.

I call it back. Very uncomfortable when a guy picks up and I chat the guy up saying this girl gave me his number and talk about sports or movies, while she is blushing.

Just have fun with it. She is not worth your time anyways.

Spending this much time and energy on what to do if you get a fake number..... it's a bit of a waste. If you emphasize connection, you won't get fake numbers. Period. If you emphasize connection, the girl is not an adversary. They want to work with you.

Remember, "seduction" isn't a competition. It's a team sport. If you're playing it right, it's not adversarial. It's not about gotcha moments like this. It's about reaching a space where girls are pulling half the weight in the interaction.

This is basically for anybody to implement this when its time to punch in that number that you just scored. Read the number back to the girl and when you do say it wrong or fuck up the order of the numbers and if she corrects you then you know you most likely don't have a fake number.

This is really a waste of your time. Don't waste your time doing this. Just dial the number as soon as you get it. Why? Because if it's correct, then you're giving her your number on the spot. It should never be a one-sided situation of only one of you getting the other's number.

You shouldn't be dealing with fake numbers. If this is a real problem, then stop trying to deal with it after the fact, and start addressing whatever is going wrong before your number close. Sounds like you're pushing the number close too early. You get fake numbers when you push for the number close before you should.
