This may seem a little trivial but hear me out,

A while ago i had the revelation that my sense of humor was that (in brief) awkwardness / breaking social norms & the building and release of tension between two or more people, (I cant really think of an adequate way of describing it but a prime example is sacha baron cohen's material e.g. Borat), sometimes the awkward moment in an interaction can be generally hilarious,

Needless to say this is not the sense of humor to be expressing during pickup, I'm not saying you can't still be entertained by this stuff privately (if its entertaining you during a set great), Just don't physically express it (breaking sexual tension silences by laughing etc),

Now you may be asking what sort of sense of humor should i have?, and i have no idea, yep I'm drawing a blank that's not to say that there isn't a good scene of humor to employ, I'm sure someone will have an amazing answer to this in the comments but i grew up with this sense of humor and i haven't been socially aware/ doing pickup for long enough to find an answer, yet.

As far as 'breaking social norms' go i can see this as being potentially beneficial for your actions more than your words and especially your humor, prove me wrong ;),

One final note I'm British and live in the UK,twiddles mustache, i know humor is different around the world!
