Disclaimer: I'm writing this 20% to vent, but 80% in the hope it will help someone in a similar position.

After trying to do daygame and learn by myself (around 7 months), I realised I was stuck so I decided to get a coach. Given my student budget, I went for an online coach and, to summarize, it was a complete waste of time.

I was on the field every day, trying as best as I could to apply his advice, but after 3 months, 600+ approaches, and zero dates I just gave up. Honestly, I'm not that upset about the money I spent, but rather about the time and the fact that I don't know if his advice left me with worse game.

If you are going for a coach: (i) demand a demo, you have to see the guy in action; (ii) beware if he's way more handsome than you are; (iii) ask if you can talk with previous students; and (iv) go for a local coach who will tell you where to go and how to best use your time.
