This girl and I have been messaging back and forth today.... Complete transcript is below.
ME: You say you are good at making pies. Cool. Can you make sandwiches too? Because we're going to get bad ass munchies when we smoke. :D
HER: Haha, I can make dope ass sandwiches. I can make things that don't involve hours of preparation or baking. But to be honest, a big part of that is because I'm lazy and I smoke, so when I'm hungry I want the food now, not in an hour lol
ME: OMG you probably have the worst diet ever! Haha. All good though, you look pretty fit. ;)
But yea, I totally feel you on the instant gratification... Although, I'm a lot more creative/better at cooking/creating food when I'm high. I made some weed infused spaghetti once for me and a couple girl friends. Needless to say, it was the bomb, and a nice home cooked meal wasn't the only thing they were enjoying from me! ;)
But yea, that's the extent of my creative abilities. Cooking, maybe some beat making skills. Oh yea, and in the bedroom. :P
What about you? I read from your profile that you're an aspiring creative type... What do YOU like to do when you're high.
And don't say sit on your couch and veg out. I know you don't do that ALL the time. :P
HER: I love to sing but I'm really shy about it. I used to dance for years, and even went to competitions. But I haven't danced for years. I can't draw but I like to doodle cartoons. I really love to write, but I'm really hard on myself and think every idea I have is boring and no one would be interested.
ME: Oh yea? I used to sing in choir at school. And my voice is suuuuuuuuper deep. Some would describe it as sexy. People tell me that they like the sound of my voice all the time. I still enjoy singing. If not in the bathroom, then usually at a karaoke bar with friends. No, not in public. We rent a private one. Haha.
And honestly, you really are being too hard on yourself. I feel that "everyone has a story to tell." The real problem in writing (or ANY art for that matter) is being able to convey that "human experience" through a medium. When you have trouble writing about something... think about how it makes you feel. Think about the little details that only you (as the storyteller) would experience. That in turn would allow you to convey the "human experience" of your story to the reader. Does that make sense?
Sorry if this conversation got all deep all of a sudden. It's just that I can appreciate art, and creativity, probably because of the fact that I myself lack that talent. I'm kind of a geek. You know, messing with computers all day and stuff. Hehe. o_o
Or maybe I got all deep because I'm kind of baked right now. Hehehe.
But anyways, I'm __. What's your name? :)
HER: I'm __. And its ok I like deep discussions every now and then.
I don't really know what to talk about haha, I'm sorry. It's been a kinda off day.*
What next? I don't want to be boring.... Also, I've read that when approaching women, initially, 90% of the talking will be done by me. Were my replies to her too long?
EDIT: Formatting. Also, included more questions.
