I feel like this is uncharted territory since it's so rare for women to marry down in earning potential. I've seen high earning women marry men with equivalent earnings, and I have heard of women claiming they would support their alpha bf (personal trainer for example) while they worked in their career (e.g. engineer) but I have never seen it come to fruition.

Let's discuss this.

How does one snag their HB7 BB provider? Be jacked? Have a respectable career that earns less than her (e.g. you're an average engineer and she's a doctor)?

What will the consequences be? Assuming she is mentally fit and no abusive before marriage, are things destined to shift with the power mismatch? How do you implement dread game with a high earning woman? Is it ever worth it being a stay at home dad? Will the courts be more favorable towards a SAH dad in the case of divorce?

I believe this needs to be discussed more because women are killing it careerwise in an unprecedented fashion. Norms may be changing, so how do men manage to stay competitive when dating a high-earning woman without it becoming a competition about who can earn more?

Also, there is a lot of talk about women marrying men then abusing divorce/family legal systems to hurt the man. But wouldn't that correct itself if men and women earn the same or gasp she earns more?

I have gotten a lot of advice from friends who married young (middle east) that you should never marry a woman from a wealthy family because your life will become a nightmare. "Marry poor and she will always be greatful". However, I don't think that's a safe bet. I partially agree with not marrying a spoiled rich girl, but a high earning woman isn't as bad as your average thot, depending on the context (e.g. she dedicated her youth to getting her masters and PhD by 26 and HAS the intention of using her degree for a high paying job she is passionate about.)
