It's the only advice.
Seduction is showing someone you're interesting enough to sleep with/get to know better. If you're not actually interesting, you're lying. And they'll figure it out.
Join some clubs, listen to world music, learn to salsa, eat a bhut jolokia just because you can. I dunno. Be an interesting person.

I think you have some things to work on regarding confidence/self esteem. Your self image goes a long way toward how other people see you.
I'd stick around a bit, lurk, do some reading. Maybe you'll pick up some important lessons about confidence and a "fake it 'til you make it" attitude.
