Background: she and I go to school together. I know for a fact she thinks I'm attractive (but hey, you can find someone good looking and not necessarily want to fuck them). She has a boyfriend who goes to another college (who is apparently garbage). We are not very close (I made sure of that, I don't want her to friendzone me while she has a boyfriend), but we are in the same group of friends. She desperately wants to be part of the committee I am head of (because she wants to have in impact in school or to spend more time with me? who knows).

Anyhoo, she compliments me pretty often, but it's usually pretty subtle, like she'll go 'daaamn' if we see each other in the hallways and I'm dressed particularly well that day or something. Today, I am also dressed pretty nicely, and she told me I looked cute.

To me, being called cute is sort of a bad thing because in my head I call people cute when they look like kittens if you know what I mean. I wouldn't call a hot girl cute.

Thoughts? I know this is ridiculous. I know I may be reading too far into this. But I'm curious what TRP thinks of being complimented in such a fashion.
