Hey guys, I'm a beginner PUA making lots of progress recently. First off, sorry to all the advanced PUAs here, but this post will probably only be useful to newbies.

That said, I just wanted to share my thoughts on a movie I just watched: "The King's Speech". Although it reveals nothing groundbreaking about seduction, it does hit a few key points that I could really relate to.

This movie shows the significance of "inner game" and how important it is to rationalize and overcome your fears. It highlights what was one of my biggest sticking points. I always knew what to say and how to say it, but the words just couldn't come out of my mouth when I was in front of a girl. One of the questions I kept asking myself when I first started PUA was "What if this girl starts hating me for being too forward? What if she knows someone who also knows me, and that hate spreads? What if everyone around me started hating me?" I know that it was ridiculous, but it was my biggest fear.

That brings me to another important topic that the movie brought up, which is friendship. What helped me overcome my biggest fear was the realization that I have friends I can trust. No matter how many times I get rejected or how many people in the world hate me, my true friends will always have my back. I could be 110% sure that they would never start to hate me. All this sounds really cheesy, but without my trusted friends, I would not have been so fearless and risk-taking in my social interactions.

The movie just had so many parts I could relate to. I found it hilarious when the king started swearing, for example, because that's exactly what I do in my head. I don't want to spoil too much, but I hope you all can appreciate the themes presented in the movie. And I hope all the newbies can find a way to overcome their fears just as I (and King George) did.

Anyway, Colin Firth is definitely deserving of an Academy Award for his work in this film.
