Kiss her BEFORE the end of the date. This relieves the tension that you might encounter at the end of the date because, yes, she is expecting you to make a move.

Why take your time? If she's as special as you say she is, why wait? If you've built that emotional comfort and trust with her, and you know she's attracted to you, it's time to make your move.

I would think a hug or a kiss on the cheek would let her know that you're interested. But kiss her on the next date...

If you ask them out again, they're more likely to think you're scared to make a move. Which is worse than them thinking you're not interested, since being afraid of girls is unattractive.

So, what do you do instead?

Kino, kino, kino. Physical push/pull. Tease her, and then pull her in with your arm around her shoulder, saying, "You're cute when you pout." or whatever. After a few of these, the kiss is easy.

Usually you can just make eye contact, smirk, and then move in for the kiss on one of these instances where you've pulled her in. If you need to say something (to confirm for yourself that she's amenable to a kiss), you can say, "You've got great lips." or "I've been wanting to kiss you all night." or "You know what I wanna do right now?"

As Captivation said: The kiss should come before the end of the date. I like to get a kiss in within an hour or two of the start of the date. If you wait too long, you don't have enough time to ramp up sexual tension enough for her to make it to "omg, I need to fuck this guy right now" by the end of the date. After the first kiss, don't go into heavy make out mode...just keep doing the physical push/pull, occasionally go for the kiss, tease her (i.e. give her hints that you might be planning to kiss her, and then do something else surprising), etc. until you've got her back at your place or her place and you can get more sexual.

I have no time for patience. Generally neither does pickup, being overly patient can kill sexual tension.

She will still think that you are attracted to her, but too scared to make a move. Turn off.

When you say past experiences, are we talking regular douchbags or hardcore problems? Could be worth discussing.

Physically, going in for the kiss apropos of nothing (talking doesn't count, you need some physical contact) is called lunging. Everyone hates it. Big turn off.

You gained her trust, you say. Be careful not to become her platonic psychologist, oneitis lies this way.
