Went out solo Wednesday night. Could not seem to get in state despite opening up five sets at the bar. Kept feeling like a skeevy "ladies man" and didn't understand why none of my sets were sticking. The reason is: I was being selective about who I talked to.

Sure, it's good to talk to the most attractive woman in the bar. But I think we sometimes forget that it is important to talk to everyone. Women notice when you only talk to pretty girls and you become seen as not a fun guy who goes out to entertain himself, but a man who measures his worth by how many pairs of panties he gets off. We want to be seen as the former.
