I messed around with the girl, and got her number. We were texting kinda regularly at first. Nothing extreme, but a couple times a day. We were supposed to meet up last Saturday night at my friends birthday party where her friend's band was playing, but on Friday I wound up in San Francisco (unplanned) and was there on Sat for a Giants game. I didn't get back into town till 2 am and by then she had left the party.

We have texted some since but she's acting a little stand-off-ish, probably becuase I bailed on our "plans" to meet up. (I put plans in quotes to emphasize that it was more of a "Ill see you there" kinda thing, not a date per se)

I know that I should chalk this one up as one who got away, but I kinda wanna find a way to tell her that if we don't get together, Im done with her ass, without sounding too beta about it. Is there a way to say that? or do I just not talk to her anymore? The way I look at it, if I stop talking to her, I lose no matter what, but if I can somehow communicate the ultimatum without sounding hurt or needy, theres a damn good chance that she'll get with the program.
