The reason why women, even if they mean well, give terrible dating advice is because they lack the self-awareness needed to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Combine that with Solipsism and you end up with el clásico: "Just be yourself."
But what about the other way round? Does the average man too lack the self-awareness to give good dating advice to the opposite sex? After all, if we (men) are not able to identify bad dating advice from women whose to say that we are any better than them?
