Well, i'll be honest, I feel a bit weird posting here, but lately I have been questioning myself and getting down on myself in regards to the whole dating scene. I just recently discovered Seddit and started lurking for a bit for a bit. I decided I didn't have much to lose, so I made an account ready to throw myself into this place. Now lets see, where to begin.

Well, I am your average 18 year old college freshman, 5' 6" and 125lbs roughly, on the shorter/skinnier side. Never really had a proper girlfriend, due to the fact that I am extremely shy about this sort of thing. I don't consider myself too self conscious but I do sometimes get those nights where I am just down on myself. I don't consider myself that bad looking but there is definitely room for improvement. Anyway, basically I have little experience in this sort of thing, which is why I am here I suppose. I did ask the girl I liked to senior prom in high school and she said yes. However I completely shot myself in the foot with that one by asking her as a friend...yes, I cockblocked myself. But still, it was a confidence boost if anything. But that experience alone sums any experience I have.

So consider this my formal introduction into the world of Seddit. From what I've read, I guess the best starting point would be to start smiling more at people and improving my look. Any further tips/advice would be very much appreciated.
