So I started a new job a while ago and they have a lot of team building activities that they do like rockclimbing, doing camping trips on the weekends, etc. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to mix my social life with my work colleagues. At my old job, there was none of that sort of stuff (after work at least). Here it seems like a more friendly social atmosphere, and even though it seems that way, I don't want to spend my free time hanging out with people from work. While they're all cool, and fun to be around, I still feel like I have to filter myself a lot more than with my regular friends. I can't talk shit about hoes, have to be politically correct, etc. to maintain professionalism. And like I said, at the end of the day, we spend enough time together at work, do I really want to spend more time with the same people?

But on the other hand, I've been trying to expand my social circle, and this might be a way to do it?

What are your thoughts?
