I was at a uni party by the river with a couple of mates, one of my friends knew a chick there and was talking to her a little bit. I was making eye contact with everyone and talking to whoever I could male or female, but it was just idle chit chat about the party.

later in the night I asked a chick for a lighter because I had forgotten one, she handed me a lighter and gave me this little smile, I thought fuck it, and invited her to come hang out with my mates at this table we were sitting at.

So she sits down and snuggles up to me and I naturally put my arm around her to keep her warm. win for me as I struggle to break the touch barrier, so after that point for the next few hours I made sure to always be touching her, I was rubbing her back, tickling her hips etc. I was kind of drunk and forgot my seddit lessons, I forgot to flirt with her, we were just talking about uni and stuff. I didn't make a lot of eye contact as we were sitting next to her, but a couple of times I leaned in close to talk to her because it was a bit loud and I made good eye contact then.

Eventually she had to leave and I asked for her number, she gave it to me and that was the end of that night.

tl;dr #closed a girl I'd met that night. Didn't flirt enough. not enough eye contact. only approached one girl in the night. plan on asking her out for a drink or something later this weekend
