Backstory: So from a group of 6 friends, 3 have girlfriends(emotionally invested and a lot of time dedicated) and 1 is not in a relationship, but it's complicated. And since I began reading TRP around 2 months ago, and not re-enacting, I strongly disagree with their perspective of LTRs.

Ever since I started reading TRP I've thought that you don't really need a girlfriend, or if you're gonna look for one she's supposed to be submissive, you should be the one controlling the ship, not her, not to get emotionally invested, and a few other stuff which I don't even remember now. While, my friends keep worshiping relationships and they "beg" to find a girlfriend so they can have a good time, while I'm just trying to work on myself(feeling good about life on my own without being the guy that is just nice and sweet, but not dominant).

Now, this situation that I'm in is confusing me to a whole other level. Because all 3 of them have been with a fair share of women(they haven't had sex too many times), it's just been like a short thing(maybe like a week of making out and retarded teenage stuff). I simply can't wrap my head around the thought of wanting a girlfriend(LTR) just so your life can be perfect, and it's come to the point where I don't see them as much and we DON'T really want to see each other(or haven't shown affection and feelings towards each other), but instead they like to stick with their girlfriends.

Something that I've noticed before is that even when I show them more affection(tell jokes with them, try to have fun), while their girlfriend is there, they just brush it off and don't really care. And I have to admit, when we're all together the atmosphere isn't the best. Often I feel negative vibes out of no where flowing through my body, and I've noticed that about my best friend as well. I'm not dependent on my friends, nor do I rely on them, because in the back of my head there's the thought that all of them are going to leave each other for their girlfriends, which is definitely the worst thing one could do to himself and to his close friends.

At the end of the summer break, it got to the point where two of my friends went back home after a night out at 12:30am, regardless of their later curfew - claiming that it's boring outside, whilst sitting on their phone.

EDIT: Misunderstanding of the term "purple pill".
