Hey guys, hope everyone is having a amazing holiday and getting everything they have asked for.
So, I had an interesting night Friday with a handful of friends and some of which were friends-of-friends. I won't go into much of the details with what happened that nite as far as field-reports go but I will say at one point in the night it did involve a midget dressed in a suit, a 6'0" blonde girl donning a pink tu-tu, and a handful of bro-dude's fighting over a bottle of Miller Lite. But honestly, none of that stuff stood out as much as my voluntary wing that left me speechless at parts of the nite.
Honestly, I never realized how beneficial it is to have not just a wing... but a wing who is in sync with your method of game, personality, and knowledge of who you are as a person. Point being when I stepped out of the group of friends and directly opened these two cute girls standing by themselves in the corner of the bar.
Everything went really well, to the point where I was leaning against the wall to make it appear they were both talking me up rather then vice versa. Out of no where does the friend-of-a-friend appear and just stands there. Honestly, plants his feet right infront of the girls and looks...silently. Ok, for starters this is creepy! But I thought what the hell and figured I'd introduce the guy to the two girls and build some social value, maybe even have be able to seclude my target away from her friend... both girls were cute so everyone wins. Right?
No, this "wing" stands there firmly, talking low and with little to no emotion. I think whatever as long as I have my target secluded... until I hear the other girl raise her voice in what was clearly disgust.
Because these two lovely females were Jamaican he made the most stereotypical assumption and asked wither or not it was true. He asked wither or not they smoked weed while listening to Bob Marley all day. For the record, before anyone replies and says "No, he was negging them... he did a good job!" Than no, please re-read what a neg is. A neg is both a compliment and insult at the same time, a backhanded compliment in fact. This was just offensive and idiotic.
I play it off and recover for the both of us, slapping him on the back to signal "Don't fuck this up or you're dead!". I was able to number close both successfully and stay in set but not before the other girl comments "I don't get it, you two are friends but he (not me) is so silent. We want to hear you talk!" I didn't know wither this man was trying to sabotage me or use some unorthodox approach.
Whatever the case, it was awkward and painful to see happen. I'v winged with other guys before, some of which I only met through a pua-related forum and had success. I never imagined a bad wing could be the case but apparently not so please... if you choose to wing with someone know that the success your friend has will directly influence yours. You guys are a team, and need to work together! Communicate with one another and help your friend out wither it is in a good or bad situation!
Is your wing about to get in a fight because the girl he was talking to for 15 minutes has a jealous boyfriend that is overreacting? Step in and make the match 2 against 1. Is your friend juggling two girls at the same time and wanting to pass one of to you so he can seclude his target to himself? Step up and open the other girl and who knows... you may get lucky as well.
Bottom line, this experience has really opened my eyes when winging with someone and makes all those good wings that much more valuable to me. When one wins, everyone else does to. I have no hard feelings or anger towards that friend-of-a-friend and talked to him as normal after all was said and done. I know that there are a endless amount of girls just waiting to be spoken to and I won't let anyone determine wither or not I have good nite or bad.
tl;dr: Went out with friends, had a friend-of-a-friend randomly wing with me but almost sabotaged an HB8 2-set. Respect your wings as when one wins, everyone else does to.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
