I was out at the bar last Thursday night with a couple buddies and we were waiting for some other friends to meet up with us. I looked around and there were a bunch of sets of cute girls, since It was early drunk guys weren't slobbering all over them yet, I had 1 beer in me, and the bar wasn't packed yet. I decide to just start opening, my two friends stood there like chumps and didn't wing me at all.

I walk up to the first set of two girls and just said "What's a better Christmas movie, Elf or Home Alone?" Both of them said Home Alone so I just took the argument of Elf on why it was so much funnier than Home Alone...transitioned to what their holiday plans were, and mentioned mine of going to Vermont. Convo lasted a while and I wasn't to interested so I told them it was nice talking to them and I was going to find my friends.

I see another set of 3 cute girls, opened with the same question. Two said Home Alone, one said Elf (Seriosuly, Elf is hilarious, I know Home Alone is a classic, but I thought the women would love Elf). Did the same transition...told them of my plans to go to Sugarbush for the weekend, turns out they are all going up to Sugarbush with a group of girls for New Years. I was getting IOIs from one girl, and the other two kindly left her to chat with me. We had a lot in common, so I asked for her number. Chatted a little bit longer, and then same exit, said it was nice talking to her and left to find my friends. She started texting me the next day, wanting to hang out. So I have a date with her tomorrow to grab drinks. Kino and Escalation to come...hopefully I have a follow up FR.
