What's good reddit, occasional reader of other reddits, just found this one and I got a philosophical (I guess you could call it) question for you guys.
From the sidebars and stuff it seems like there's some good advice here but what's up with all the scenarios and acronyms and almost technical shit? I'm not talking about what it means either, I can look that up pretty easily. I'm asking, why do you guys use it? I feel like this is some sort of science class or video game or something.
Anyways, I ask because it seems to me (unschooled as I am) that human interaction is never that simple. I feel like reducing bar chillin, partying and talking to girls - "the game," I guess you call it - to a bunch of acronyms, techniques and scenarios would totally drain the life out of it for me. People can be fascinating creatures really, and I feel like I wouldn't get that if all my conversations were just tricks I pulled out my ass. Not that these tricks don't have value - I've done some of this shit before - but seems to me like there's more to it than that, I guess.
So my real question is - do you guys think you've actually got a "scientific method to the game" here, or does it run deeper than the acronyms and the techniques, and I'm just not getting it? Also, if you're of the former opinion, what makes you think about it that way?
Appreciate whatever opinions you give me, guys.
