As a college student working as a waiter in a restaurant near campus, I have the ability to chat up girls that come in all the time. Because I am forced to talk to people and women constantly, my AA outside of work with women is non-existant anymore which is awesome.

Anyways, If i'm trying to game the girls at my table or something, i'll usually banter a bit with them, make fun of what they order, ask them what they're doing today ect. My favorite thing to do is if they're being flirty, when I drop the check off i'll say: "Don't bother leaving your number on the check, it will most likely end up in the trash" or something similar. 9 times out of 10 they'll laugh about it with their friends and leave me their number.

To any waiters or people working in service industry, do you have any things you do while working specifically to get numbers?
