This is a solid k-close technique I often use. One of many, MANY that would work; I just like it's simplicity, especially if I'm not getting tons of IOIs from the girl. Just make sure you up the kino before going for it otherwise it will very likely not work:

"I am trying so hard not to kiss you right now."

If the girl wants to kiss you, she will say nothing or give you either subtle or explicit permission to kiss: move in for the kiss. If she isn't yet ready to kiss you, she will usually say something like: "Well keep trying." (I am all too familiar with this response unfortunately lol). If she says "keep trying," you (of course) just smile, laugh, and then keep teasing her about whatever.
