I still have to fight really bad AA every day, but I recently found a pretty effective way of fighting it by simply not giving it a chance to build up. I tried it on Saturday and pulled off my first kclose!
My first cold approaches have always happened exactly like this:
1.) I spot the target 2.) I move closer 3.) I stare at her for a few minutes thinking about what to say, my anxiety increases every second I look at her, until finally the AA has blown up into a fully developed anxiety attack
This was almost always the case, so I began wondering what I did wrong. Then it clicked in my head -
Most of you have probably heard about the 3 seconds rule. It states that a girl only needs approximately 3 seconds to spot you and classify you.
Think about it - when you first spot a girl, you only have light to moderate anxiety. Every second you waste thinking about what to say or how to approach her the anxiety increases. That leads to the only logical conclusion:
APPROACH YOUR TARGET IMMEDIATELY
By doing this, your brain doesn't even have enough time to think about the supposedly catastrophic results of approaching her. Prepare a few standard openers (I like to use "Who lies more? Men or women?" or, you know, "Hi there") and only a handful of routines (I'm not a big fan of routines but I usually use "Guess a number between 0 and 10" - they'll most likely guess 7 - or just random shit I come up with) and you're good to go.
Never hesitate. Never doubt yourself. You see a cute girl, you approach her immediately. You will still be scared walking up to her, but at that point it's too late to stop the approach. Don't let your mind trick you.
Hope this helps someone, it's the only effective way of fighting AA for me.
