Hi guys. This is my first FR on Seddit. I've been working on my game for quite some time and have always had problems approaching women in clubs and bars. I've read nearly all books about the game and know much about how the game is meant to be played but usually i'm just to much of a pussy to approach women. Yesterday was different.

I went out sarging with 2 PUA buddies of mine who have been training me for the past couple of months. Before we go out we always watch some funny PUA videos (like some episodes of the pick-up artist) to get in the mood. We practice openers and basic conversation on each other to be prepared for tricky questions.

Fast forward to the venue. We arrive, get some drinks and spot a beautiful 5-set standing about 10 feet away from us. It's always hard to open the first, but I thought to myself "fuck it!" and just went for it. This was a big deal for me because at first I was expecting to be blown out of the set. This did not happen, and my opener kicked in like charm. The girls obviously enjoyed the conversation and were having a good time. I opened with some standard opinion opener: "Hey girls, quick question. I've gotta get back to my friends, but i need a quick female opinion om something". The girls replied "ohh! we have a question for you too!". To which i replied "that's cool, but i'll go first." I felt like a boss saying this to them. So i finish my story, girls laughing and all, and then they asked their question: "Are you guys in the military or something?". Me and my friends are not soldiers, but usually we wear dogtags around our necks. I thought this would be the perfect operatunity to make use of them. So i slowly pulled to dogtags beneath my shirt and tossed them out on my chessed. The girls went NUTS! "See!! We KNEW you guys where soldiers, OMG OMG!" We talked for a bit more, but did not get a # or kiss close. I opened about 5 or 6 more sets this evening, and felt really proud of myself for doing this. My PUA buddies even went back to a set i opened and asked them how i did, just for feedback. They said that i came across very confident and that they really enjoyed talking to me. Man i felt GOOD guys!

I've learned a lot from this evening and now know that opening sets won't be a problem for me anymore. My next goal is to learn how to keep the conversation playful much longer instead of falling back on the usual convo (what's your name, what do you do?). Maybe you guys can help me out on this one.
