Hey Seddit, after my epiphany yesterday, my balls finally dropped. I went to the gym today, and after I finished my run and was moving on to lifting I spot a HB8.5 using the elliptical. It was the same girl that sat next to me in a lecture once, and we chatted a little. I walked up to her, talked to her for like 2 minutes then said I'll catch you later. I finished my lifting and she was still there. I went up to her (and this is where seddit advice kicked in, my back was as straight as I possible could, I looked her right in the eyes and never broke eye contact once) and asked her what she's doing tomorrow. She said nothing, so I told her that she's going to be getting coffee with me. She smiled and said sure. We set up a time and place for tomorrow (neither of us had our phones on us).

I'm optimistic about it, she seemed quite happy and giggly.

Any advice on how to improve my approach, and what I could have done differently?
