Ok so here's my story:

I've been working in a restaurant for two years now and recently turned 21. I work with very attractive female servers whom I've become pretty comfortable with overall. We trade gossip and such and it's a good time when we're all pretty busy. But one of the things I've noticed lately from one of the servers(esses?) is that she's been "touching" more. So I've responded a little bit to see if perhaps she's hinting at something. There have been times when I've walked by and she hangs on my arm for a slight second, then releases. I've responded to when I've walked up behind her I do a short little scratch between the shoulder blades and just continue talking with her as normal. She isn't weirded out by me doing so, and I think I've caught her checking me out once or twice. One of the issues I'm seeing is that she's actually foreign (she's from Russia) and perhaps it's just cultural?

My question is this. What is the next step? I'm afraid that if I really escalate or something that it could come off weird and I don't want to kill a good working relationship. She's ungodly attractive and slightly older than me with a russian accent. I would love to go out with her sometime, but I'm just afraid that I'm reading the signs wrong.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm new to this subreddit since I've only recently become interested in the bar scene and such. Thanks!
