I've only read your first sentence, so I'm sorry if this isn't applicable - Girls are people, I'm a very high-value person (or thats how I see myself), so I'm gonna go start a conversation with these girls, either they realise my awesomeness and things go well.... or there the kind of girls who aren't getting to know as they clearly prefer there own company to others

Breaking eye contact can cause feelings in a girl that say that this guy is not confident.

Also having a dgaf confidence is also negative since you feel like you are better than everyone else, which ends up making you feel bad inside.

Try to get to know her better and to figure out what she likes, then you may have common interests, which will make her more interested in you.

You need to study the basics of making approaches. Beginners are often recommended to use an indirect approach that disarms their defensiveness. There are other techniques like the False Time Constraint that helps reduce their anxiety that you might be some lunatic who is going to stick around and annoy them. You only need to create enough comfort that they will tolerate your presence while you try to get some initial attraction.

How often do you get annoyed by people starting conversations with you? I can't recall ever being annoyed by a stranger talking to me
