Any sedditors in NYC see a guy at the 51st and Lexington subway station practicing his game?

I see him between 2 pm and 6 pm or so. He's just standing there trying to talk to random women walking to their train (in the pathway between the E/M and the 6 train). It's amusing. I've been thinking about approaching him and asking if he's actually doing that, since he could just be selling something as well.
