Recently was talking biology with some friends, the conversation shifted to women. Granted some of these things are obvious, they definitely give a better reason to believe why some of the stereotypes and relationship roles exist. Stating the obvious somewhat, but every man should know this.

1) Why women are considered sluts, yet men aren't: Women ovulate once a month. Reproduction is more of an investment than it is for men. Men could, technically, if they wanted to, impregnate 5-6 women a day, maybe more. For a man, his ultimate evolutionary goal is to pass on his genes. This is where the term alpha comes from. Alpha males attempt to populate the gene pool as much as possible (see also, survival of the fittest). Women who sleep around are considered 'slutty' because they don't both differentiating between who they want to invest their egg with. This is why men make the first move and are assumed to be breadwinners.

B) Women are emotionally more advanced, Men are physically more advanced : Why do you think men tend to fall faster than women, consistently? What women lack in physical strength they make up for in emotional maturity and brains. While this may not be true for all women, the alpha females (so to speak) have the biggest grip on their emotions. Conversely, alpha males, as categorized by us, do not fall victim to "one-itis" because they are emotionally developed to the point where they do not fall for a girl until they are sure this is the one they want to produce a family with.
