How much of this do you think was due purely to the lifting you did. Gaining muscle and getting more fit probably really helped your self esteem and made you more physically attractive.

i've had a similar experience. working out really made my self-esteem and self-worth shoot through the roof, as it showed me what hard-work and dedication brings. I thought i was going to stay scrawny for the rest of my life, lol. anyways, it seems we have an extremely similar outlook on life; i wish i knew people like this in real life. however, do you have to deal with people being more rude to you, males specifically, i have a high sense of self-worth but i'm not douchy and i am nice to absolutely everyone no matter how ugly, good looking, fat, skinny, etc etc i think you are but i hate how some people mistake you as stuck up or up yourself when you're really just content with your life.
