The same thing happened to me a while back during school. Same type of girl, same type of relationship, same type of circumstances as far as I can tell. Most guys here will say assume attraction in any situation, but this seems pretty straightforward. If you want it, don't be afraid of change in a relationship, relationships aren't static. All you have to do is push/break the barrier with something as simple as a kiss if you're in close proximity and she's looking at you with those "what are you waiting for?" eyes. good luck bud

It honestly sounds to me like she's just doing it because she likes attention. I wouldn't put a lot of stock into it. Feel free to escalate and see how far she's willing to go, but I think it won't be very far anyway.

Same thing happened to me just recently. I've been a lurker on this sub mostly for the self help advice but also just the interesting techniques. A very good female friend of mine was bartending at a bar I had gone to that night, and I hadn't seen her in a few months, so we were chatting and getting along great. I had always had a feeling this girl was into me, but she would constantly give mixed signals, throwing some serious IoI's, talking about sex often, and just general stuff, while at the same time always saying how we work great as friends, but sleeping with me would be like sleeping with a brother blah blah. Most would say friend zoned but A) I don't really believe in that shit, and B) Even though she is probably a 9, I just never had thought about her that way, due to having been in a long term relationship for most of the friendship. Anyways, recently out of my LTR and her just getting into one that she was unsure about, we were doing some mild flirting that we normally do. She walks up to the jukebox to play a tune, and after a minute I get up and see her standing there. I said fuck it, I'll play around a bit, see how she reacts. So I walk on up, and lightly place my hand on her lower back and slide up next to her, leaving my hand in place. At first, she pulls back not knowing who it was touching her. As soon as she looked up at me, she nearly swooned, giggled, and slid closer and we picked a few songs. Her reaction was hilarious, and proved that after seven or so years I had been totally blind as to how she felt about me, and after one light playful touch, she had communicated volumes. I'm not sure where I was going with this but, if she was cool with all this touching, I would definitely go for it brother.
