Being uninterested does not equal being confident. If you want to be active in the conversation you should, and you definitely can do so while staying confident and holding your frame

Show her that you are bored. Change the topic. Why would you want to go along with her story time? If you were actually interested in the story you wouldn't ask this question. Be yourself.

so okay for example she talks about her fucking dog or something and she tells how she got it. Example: "me and my family picked up this dog from the shelter and he was abused and almost died it was sooo sad i cried when i saw the poor doggo so we decided to take him home ( keep nodding and listening) she keeps on rambling like all females do.

AT a point the only thing you have to do is take a few key elements and put it together and say it back at her : so you and your family took in a shelter dog who was in bad shape and you are taking good care of it now.

when you do that she will feel that she has a stronger connection with you and will feel like she knows you better than you actually do because all people want is to talk about theirselves.. But really be genuine interested in the topic though, if you realy don't give a fuck then just dont do it lol.
